I can sympathize in some respects... many of my siblings don't respect my property or bounderies. In particular my younger sister is ALWAYS reading my books and getting on my computer when I'm not looking. and my younger brother opts to flop on my bed every time he walks in my room. (even though I snarl at him for doing so).

But on all other accounts, I have to disagree. My family ARE my freinds, I can hang out pleasantly with any one of them, we've found areas of interest that we can discuss, and try to avoid such topics that raise arguments. It's not a perfect system by any stretch of the imagination, but it takes both sides cooperating to get along.

This family has been falling apart for ages...I don't think there has ever been a time when we got along...At any rate..I'll be gone soon...I won't have to put up with this much longer...I appreciate any sympathy but it wasn't what I wanted in its entirety...I just needed to let off steam...So I may delete this entry..Minus the trades...

I apologize it took a bit for me to reply..I haven't had much time on the computer...Things have been running a bit slow...And due to siblings hogging the only source of internet I haven't had much time to talk to anyone...But on the plus side it gives me more time to work on trades and requests, as well as gifts...

I am an only child...and I will not complain all over your page. But I can imagine that must be awful for you. It is so sad, families anymore never seem to get on. I think it is terrible when the new parent is a jerk and thinks they can take over like that.

The rage thing being bottled up seriously can affect you, mentally and physically...for sure, it is horrible. I hope you find a good healthy escape though instead or that things get better (I am sure you are thinking "like they will" but still...) Anyways, of course I have no advice and if I did it would be terrible probably. Maybe just...when you are alone scream into a pillow or something. And draw, and write, lots, when you are feeling that way focus the anger on that. Even though sometimes that impairs artwork just try if you can maybe. Put the rage into something poetic, like an illustrated book. Haha...see, I told you my advice was awful. Either way, if you want to rant to anyone quietly feel free to note me anytime. Sorry for the cheap comment...my head is a little clouded lately.

I can how it can affect me but I really don't have much of any other choice...When Angel and I first started talking a year or so ago I was able to vent it out on him...But because I've had to bottle it up so much I've forgotten how...You advice is good actually..I do draw it out sometimes but perhaps I should get back into writing...And I'll keep note of that..Thank you ...

Commissions would be neat...from what I have seen the road to commissions is a tough one. People expect you to draw free for them. I get asked often, as do many artists by people who hardly look through my art to draw rediculous things that I do not even like. People seem to think we like drawing full pictures for them though we are not even slightly close to them....and maybe some do but honestly. I personally do not like it when people ask me to draw things I either detest or do not draw while they assume I do just because I draw in general.

I am not sure about prices. Pay attention to how long it generally takes you to do a simple sketch, a polished one, a full piece, or an insanely detailed one you spend days on, the work you put into them and find a fair way from there. For many, sketches, simple ones tend to go for 2 to 5 dollars. Where as extreme full pieces completely vary but 40 dollars and beyond is what I have seen. Although most people are poor...so you could start lower to build interest? Anyways I am on the road to saving up enough to commission several people and you would definitely be on the list when I get the money.

*nods* Indeed...It will be exceptionally harder for me since more or less, I prefer doing art for myself...But I am in need of the money and a job just sn't my thing...I enjoy doing art...Heh..I have never gotten a request unless it is stated in a journal...Though I have been tempted to stop and ask you I held myself back...It would seem as though others like to take people, among other things, for granted...

Heh..For me...A sketch won't take long and since I freehand I don't need a hole mess of lines...I am working on a personal piece now for myself...So far I am liking it but we shall see once color comes in...I have only done One or two pieces I have put a lot of work into...No..3 I believe...Anku, Twlevepawed, and the contest image for Xbakkari..Which sadly, I didn't place anything...That is what I am worried about...The prices for people can be a bit large...But for someone who needs money they can't bee too low...I was thinking about starting sketches at, perhaps, 2 or 3 dollars..An extra 50 or 75 cents for additional characters/details...*ponders as her tail taps* It is to be though over, that I can assure...*smiles warmly with tranquil blue eyes* I would be honored if I were to get an order from you...Could you maybe select a character for me to sketch...Just to use as an example for future refrence...? I won't charge...Not now at least...I have a ways to go...
